Sen. Al Franken issues new apology again for groping radio host' breasts while she slept, says he's just a big hugger

Democrat Senator Al Franken has apologised after he was accused of groping a former California model and Radio host as she slept during a USO tour in Afghanistan in 2006.

The California morning radio host Leeann Tweeden at a press conference last week, said Franken grabbed her breasts while she slept on a military aircraft. She produced a photo that shows Franken grabbing her breasts when she was a 23-year-old model during the tour.

Ms Betty Ifeoma pictured above, a staff of NNPC lagos state office that was recently accused of locking up her maid, 13 year old Nkechi Oseh, for weeks and traveling out of Nigeria, surrendered herself to the police yesterday. 

Recall that the state acting commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, led a team of police officers to Ifeoma's residence at No. 30 Adeniran Ajao Estate Anthony in Lagos state three days ago to rescue Nkechi after receiving a tipoff of the inhumane treatment meted at the little girl.

Prince Odi Okojie, one of the young leaders of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State,  has tendered his resignation. This is confirmed in a letter dated November 24, which he personally signed.

Okojie didn't give reasons for quitting the party except that he took the decision after "quality engagement and consultations with political associates, family and friends"

Maryam who has been accused of stabbing her husband, Bilyaminu Bello to death,  was arraigned before a court in Abuja this morning on a two count charge of homicide. She pled not guilty. Maryam Sanda who allegedly stabbed her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, son of former PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, to death at their home in Abuja last Sunday, has been arraigned in court. She was arraigned this morning for offenses bordering on culpable homicide. Maryam could not control her emotion as she burst into tears upon her arrival at the court holding her six-month-old baby.

Maryam covered her face a with a green scarf to prevent being photographed by the media. Before the commencement of the court proceedings, she read from the Quran.
