Blasts at bus park in Kano kills at least 25 people

Multiple explosions went off at a bus park at the popular Newroad park in the Sabongari district of Kano this evening. The blast killed at least 25 people, many of whom were passengers of a bus going to Port Harcourt. Several others were injured in the blast, while several vehicles were destroyed.
Military men have now taken over the area.

Actress Liz Benson is married to Bishop Great Ameye and together they run a ministry called Freedom Family Assembly in Delta State where they live. Liz recently opened up about her new life..

There is nothing whatsoever I miss about my old life. Instead I wish I had known the Lord before now. I have no regrets because I am positive that the path I have toed is what God prepared for me and whatever mistakes I have made in my past remains in my past and I was meant to make those mistakes. I have learnt from them because mistakes are experiences which you grow with. You are also wiser because you have been tested.

About her husband, she says:

"I met my husband in his hometown in Delta State where we live now. I went to evangelize there. We got married a few years later in 2009. I just thank God marriage has been wonderful. We have our challenges but we never let it stay past two minutes and we are done with it. We've been married for almost four years but it looks like we've been married forever. We do some crazy little things like children and play around. We are like teenagers in love and I am enjoying every moment of my marriage."

Is love truly better the second time

You've known this guy/girl for a while now, you dated and due to one reason or the other or tons of reasons LOL, you broke up. A while after, you both have moved on and either got in touch again or din't lose it at all. One way or another things start to feel mushy again, old feelings come back and you are wondering if you should give it a try again.

A lot of people say love is better the second or third or fifth time after. This is very true in some cases because for starters, time has passed and you have both learn a lot, you seem much wiser to handle and settle things now.

Details of 2face & Annie Idibia's Dubai wedding

Oaken Events is planning the wedding. Yvonne Nwosu's Vonne Couture is making the bridesmaids dresses. Mai Atafo is making the suits for the groomsmen. The wedding will hold at the Sefinah Ballroom of Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Reception will hold at an exotic Island called Royal Island Beach. Guests will be conveyed in luxury boats from the wedding venue to the Island. The wedding after party will hold at Nigerian owned club, Kiza Nite Club.

The couple are inviting only 250 guests, and they will all be lodged in four different hotels - Frazier Suites, D Atlantis Hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (where Annie and her people will stay) and Burj Al Arah (Where 2face, Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Davido, Timaya, Iyanya, politicians and many big boys will lodge).

Most guests will be leaving Nigeria on Thursday March 21 for the two-day wedding of the year which will hold March 22nd and 23rd and will cost over N50million.

Annie Idibia's wedding dress Costs ₤7,000

UK based Nigerian super exquisite wedding gown designer, Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah designed Annie's wedding dress. The dress was purchased for ₤7, 000, which is about N1.7million. And we will only get to see it on Saturday when photos from the wedding are released.

Annie's chief bridesmaid will be her very close friend and cousin, Maryann.

Woman kills Millionaire husband for impregnating young girlfriend

A housewife, who allegedly masterminded the gruesome murder of her husband in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is now telling the State Police Command all she knows about the crime.

It was gathered that the woman hid the alleged killers in their house before her husband returned from work, having told them that he was “a strong man” whose powers needed to be neutralised before they carried out the evil operation.

The woman (name withheld) was said to have plotted the assassination of her husband on Wednesday night, at their house. The deceased, who was a prominent businessman and contractor with Nigerian Agip Oil Company, was killed at his country home in the Mgbeoshimiri, Rumuolumeni area.

I’ve known her for about 10 years. When I met her the first time, she was doing shakara and when a girl does shakara for me, I love it. That is when I will even get more interested in her. She gave me a fake number and when I called, a guy picked up the phone and insulted me, and told me to never call him again.
So I decided to go back to where I met her and went to the same spot for three nights until I saw her again and she gave me the right number. When I called her, she started giving me attitude. Out of anger one day when we were talking, I cut the call, deleted her number, cleared the call log and I now started looking for the number again (laughs). Then one day I bumped into her when her school was having a party. We started talking and that is how it began. She suffered me oh, so as her punishment, she must give me 8 children. But I love her so much and that is all that matters.

Dana Air's operating license suspended by FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria has once again suspended the operating license of Dana Air, barely three months after they were allowed to fly again following the June 2012 crash that killed over 150 people.

According to the directive from the Ministry of Aviation through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, on Saturday, March 16, 2013, Dana Air was instructed to suspend all their flight operations until some safetly issues were rectified by the airline.

A Dana Air representative told newsmen yesterday that no specific reason was given to them by Aviation ministry for the action.
