Fifth victim from the Chattanooga terror attack dies

U.S. Navy sailor has succumbed to injuries sustained in this week's deadly Tennessee rampage, bringing the death toll from the shooting to five. The U.S. Navy did not immediately release the name of the sailor. On Friday, a statement by the Navy said a petty officer was undergoing "medical treatment" for gunshot wounds, but it is not immediately clear if Saturday's victim is the same person.

The Navy said the sailor died at 2:17 a.m. Saturday. His name will not be released until 24 hours after his family has been contacted.
However, other news outlets have released his info as Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Smith, 26. A logistics specialist, Smith was the 5th victim to succumb to his injuries after gunman Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez opened fire on Thursday afternoon.

The bullets hit his colon and liver, family members told military newspaper Stars And Stripes.
He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Angie Smith, and 3 daughters under the age of six.
