"I felt like absconding when I took over from Jonathan and met an empty treasury" - President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari today disclosed that he felt like absconding when he assumed office and met an empty treasury. President Buhari said this when he received the annual report from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, Kuru, Plateau State at the presidential villa, Abuja.

“I felt like absconding from the country due to the economic challenges. We inherited a badly managed economy” he said.
