Mariah Carey 'receives millions of dollars from ex-fiance James Packer' in settlement deal

Mariah Carey and her ex-fiance James Packer have reportedly reached a financial settlement worth millions of dollars. According to TheBlast.com, the American singer and the Australian billionaire who were engaged from January to October 2016, quietly entered into a settlement agreement a few months ago,

Sources revealed to the outlet that the mother of two received $5 – $10 million dollars, instead of the eye-watering $50 million she was initially seeking in the settlement deal.

The site also claimed that the flashy, 35-carat diamond engagement ring Packer gave Carey, which cost less than the $10 million won't be returned to the Billionaire, which means the singer is keeping it to herself.
Carey, 48, and Packer, 50, who met in 2014, stepped out holding hands on vacation in June 2015 before making their red carpet debut in September 2015 at The Intern premiere. After a few months together, the business mogul engaged her in January 2016 with a 35-carat diamond engagement ring

Since her split from Packer, Mariah has been dating her dancer Bryan Tanaka, 34.
