If you could sit down with Chris and Rihanna, what would you want to get off your chest?

"For everybody, emotionally, that would just be way too much. I’m a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I’d do it. I’m a mature person. I can work it out but that would be a lot. (Pause) Yeah, it would be a lot."

How hard is it to work with Chris with everything that’s going on?

At the end of the day, he will always be a friend. We’ll always care about each other. We won’t allow that to interfere. Our business is business.

Do you think you’ve found the person you could spend the rest of your life with?

I do care about him and I do love him. Family is very important to me, and I’ve always put it in my mind to remember that. For me, I’d love to meet somebody and grow and build a foundation, but I don’t want to even think about marriage right now. I can’t even get a clothing line out. (laughs)

A Nigerian professor claims to have found possible cure for HIV/AIDS

His name is Prof. Isaiah Ibeh and he is the Dean, School of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Benin. Prof Ibeh on Tuesday January 8th announced the development of a new drug that can  cure HIV and AIDS.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin, that research on the project was started in 2010 and culminated in the development of “Deconcotion X (DX)–Liquid or Bioclean 11 for the cure of HIV and AIDS. He said the herbal drug had undergone “a series of successful tests.”

Five goats arrested in Osun state

This story appeared in Daily sun today. 5 goats were arrested yesterday at Dele-Yesa area in Osogbo, the Osun State capital by officials of the state Waste Management Agency (OWMA) for allegedly violating environmental laws. The state Coordinator of the agency, Mr. Henry Ogunbanwo said the goats would be charged to court by the agency and would be prosecuted in accordance with the laws guiding environmental protection in the state. Ogunbanwo disclosed that the five goats arrested were detained at the office of the agency in Osogbo from where they would be taken to court for prosecution.

Son of Sunny Okosun released from jail over alleged involvement in Nkiru Sylvanus' kidnap

One of the sons of late music icon Sunny Okosun has been released from jail after being arrested over his alleged involvement in the kidnap of Nkiru Sylvanus and Kenneth Okolie.

Jerry Okosun, who also works for the Imo State government as Director General of Student Affairs, was released January 5th after spending 11 days in police cell in Owerri with other suspected kidnappers.

Jerry was arrested on Christmas Day because for some weird reason, the kidnappers contacted him to negotiate the release of Nkiru Sylvanus. Jerry acted as a middle man for Nkiru's family, the Imo State government and the kidnappers. He was the one that negotiated the N8 million ransom that was eventually paid to secure Nkiru Sylvanus and Kenneth Okolie's release.

After their release, the Imo State Government Chief of Staff ordered Jerry's arrest because they claimed to have found some incriminating text messages on his phone connecting him to the crime...and also because Jerry had been insisting on the government paying N15million as ransom. Jerry says he's innocent.

Iyanya & Yvonne Nelson back together?

Sources close to the couple said that they are somehow back together and seriously working on their relationship. Yvonne and Iyanya had a heart to heart talk while Iyanya was in Ghana over the holidays. The Ghanaian actress was later seen dropping Iyanya off at the airport in her car. The sexy stars started dating in July 2012 but ended their relationship in November after Yvonne accused the Kukere crooner of cheating on her with another actress. "They are talking on the phone everyday but things are not entirely in place as Yvonne's friends are advising her not to go back to him because of how much he hurt her the last time' The source said. Segun Oniru,The armed robbery attack on Lagos commissioner

Lagos State commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, and one of the sons of Oba Idowu Oniru, the Oniru of Iruland, Prince Segun Oniru, was attacked by armed men on Friday December 21st near Four Points By Sheraton Hotel in Oniru.

The prince, his police orderly and driver were coming from an event on that Friday evening when another SUV hit his SUV violently from the back as they approached a bump. As they got out of their car to inspect the extent of damage, the men in the other SUV came down and fired shots at them. Prince Segun Oniru's orderly was killed at the scene, his driver ran off and Prince Oniru in panic got back into his car. The robbers entered his car and drove him around the area after robbing him of his phones, credit cards, and all his money.

Prince Oniru escaped the robbers by jumping out of his car as the robbers approached a bump near where he was attacked.

The prince was treated for bullet wounds but luckily no bullet penetrated his body.

It seems Rihanna wants to let go of all the drama, but just doesn't know how to. After moving into Rihanna's home and spending the holidays with her, Chris Brown was spotted at an event with ex girlfriend, Karrueche Tran over the weekend. The two attended the Agenda Trade Show to show Chris’ new Black Pyramid clothing line to potential buyers and were later seen driving in his Porsche drop top (picture above). A Nigerian man stabbed to death by his South African wife

Nigerian man, Tony Rholand  (pictured above on the right) was stabbed to death by his South African wife, Lungi, at their home in Willims town, Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday January 1st.

The couple, who have a kid together, got into an argument in the early hours of January 1st and before anyone could stop it, Lungi stabbed Tony severally in the stomach. Tony died in the hospital a few hours later. Lungi has been arrested. See another photo of the family after the cut...

Navy Arrested 15 Russians For Smuggling Arms into Nigeria

 

The Nigerian Navy on Monday handed over a 15-man Russian crew to the Nigeria Police to be prosecuted for weapons smuggling.

A reliable source had reported the arrest of the vessel on October 20, 2012, at the Lagos Roadstead of the nation’s waterways by personnel of the Nigerian Navy Shi, Andoni,for illegal entry into the nation’s waterways.
The Navy also arrested the crew for non-declaration of cargo and possession of cache of arms and ammunition.
About 8,598 ammunition, 14 AK47 rifles and 20 Benelli MRI rifles were recovered from the Russian ship, Merchant Vessel Myre Sea Diver, Avatiu, after the ship was searched.

Princewill Ojukwu:Don Jazzy asked his Thugs to brutalize me

Popular Lagos socialite and former manager of Auto Lounge Nite Club, Princewill Ojukwu, is accusing ace music producer Don Jazzy of sending thugs to beat him up, this is according to an exclusive report by Stella Dimoko Korkus.

Princewill is alleging in a petition to the IG of Police, that on Friday December 21st, Don Jazzy asked his thugs to 'take his life' after he and the music producer exchanged words at Jazzy's night club, Pop, situated in Victoria Island.

Princewill claimed he was brutally beaten and stripped naked under the supervision of Don Jazzy and he suffered blunt force trauma to the eye, face and body. Sounds insane!

Princewill is also claiming that Don Jazzy sent a text to him some days back apologizing for the beating and asking for an account to send money for hospital bill but he says he's not interested.

'Its not about the money' Ojukwu told Dimoko 'this could happen to anyone, it is abuse of power and needs to be checked before someone is killed all in the name of the other being a celebrity. Don Jazzy stood there pinging on his blackberry as his thugs beat me up, that is the last thing I remember before I fainted....''

Weeks after the beating, Princewill says he cannot wear shoes, still walks around in pain and has constant migraine. He said he reported the case at the Bar Beach police station but no arrest was ever made. See his petition after the cut...
