"...let me go to the topic I want to discuss today "keeping your man" This is for the married women o please this is not targeted at single girls. Now we know that the one thing men cannot live without apart from money is SEX. In this forum I really don't care where anyone is from or what religion you belong to, I will be as raw and honest as possible.

I do not understand why women especially Africans do not talk about sex when we know that it is the one thing we do regularly with so much pleasure.

Monalisa Chinda and Lanre Nzeribe break up

It’s been almost a year and a half since the relationship started between the two love birds, actress Monalisa Chinda and business man Lanre Nzeribe have called it quits. According to sources close to the actress, Monalisa walked out of the relationship about a month ago. Why they really broke up is of course only known to both of them but I know there was a lot of disagreement about a business venture they were to start together. Monalisa and Lanre were working on a magazine called Monalisa before their break up. They already got an office at Chase Mall on Adetokunbo Ademola street in VI, employed staff and even worked on the first edition of the magazine before they went their separate ways. More to come.

Kaffy's husband is 25-years-old?

According to the international passport he posted on his instagram page yesterday, Kaffy's husband and PSquare's drummer Joseph Ameh was born May 23rd 1988 (circled above). That makes him 25. Kaffy DanceQueen was born in 1980, which means she's eight years older than her hubby.

So you mean to tell me that before Toyin Lawani there was Kaffy? Wow. Good stuff. I'm really proud of this new generation of women o. Dem dey vex!

Bola Tinubu recuperates after knee surgery in the United States

Former Governor of Lagos State and leading founder of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been absent from public engagements in the past few weeks. He sent out a statement in early August explaining that he would be traveling out of the country for knee surgery.

"Based on a previous sports injury on one of his knees and recent further aggravation on the knee from rigorous political and family related activities, he has been advised by his doctors, despite his persistent reluctance, that orthopedic surgery is necessary at this time.

The week of the 5th of August has been slated for the surgery. Governor Tinubu is expected to resume his normal political activities and public engagements following clearance from his doctors." The statement read

Tinubu has since had the surgery in a hospital in the US and is said to be recuperating.

Graphic pics: 1,300 Syrians gassed in their beds inside Damascus suburb

Shocking photos have been released showing the aftermath of the deadly chemical weapons unleashed on Damascus suburb, Ain Tarma, where 1,300 innocent Syrians were gassed in their beds.

The attack yesterday have left the streets deserted and makeshift morgues piled high with bodies of innocent women, men and children while those who survived the attack are fighting for their lives in makeshift hospitals. The attackers used rockets to release fatal fumes over the suburb in the early hours of yesterday morning as people slept in their homes.

The Syrian president has denied being behind the attack as protests against it erupted in other parts of the world. What I don't understand is why the rest of the world is folding its hands while thousands of innocent people are being slaughtered in Syria. More photos after the cut...

Policewoman caught on camera extorting money from a bus driver has been arrested

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of a policewoman caught in a video footage demanding a bribe of N100 from a commercial bus driver.  See the video HERE.
Public relations officer of the command, Ngozi Braide said...

“We have arrested her and she is presently in custody. She will be made to undergo an orderly room trial and the outcome will be made public’’.

When asked to provide the name and the station the female cop was attached, Braide said she could not immediately provide the details.

3 nabbed as they attempt to snatch former miss Nigeria Feyi Sodipo's car

Former Miss Nigeria, Feyi Sodipo, escaped being abducted by three fake security operatives who claimed to be working for the organisers of Miss Nigeria beauty pageant yesterday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The suspects, including two men and a woman, were said to have coerced Feyi, brought her in their car from Lagos to Abeokuta, where they said they were coming to retrieve the car which she won during the contest.

The suspects, who rode a Honda Shuttle car marked (LAGOS), KA 35 EKY, were said to have forcefully ordered the former beauty queen to enter their car from Lagos to Abeokuta where the Hyundai car she won with registration number (LAGOS) GGE 354 AJ was to be retrieved.

Oh Damn! Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller comes out as gay

Sorry ladies, we've lost another hot one to the men. Damn! Who would have imagine it? Anyone surprised he's gay? Wentworth, who played the lead character Michael Scofield in Prison Break came out as a gay man yesterday August 21 via an open letter to the Saint Petersburg Film Festival, rejecting an invitation to attend a premiere there because of Russia's recently-passed anti-gay laws.

Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline.

I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.

Perhaps, when and if circumstances improve, I'll be free to make a different choice.

Lee Thompson Young's behaviour changed after practicing Yoruba?

Actor Lee Thompson Young committed suicide in his apartment few days ago by shooting himself, now E online is reporting that the actor's behaviour changed after he 'began practicing Yoruba'. When did Yoruba become a religion? Read the report below:

Lee loved to travel and was always the first to tell everyone to take a breath and enjoy the beauty of life." He was always "gentle and unassuming," despite his early success, and didn't have the typical "look-at-me" attitude.

 That said, those close to Young noticed things "really changed" a few years ago when he began practicing Yorùbá, an Africa-based religion which has a saying, "iku ya j'esin", meaning  "death is preferable to ignominy." Some have questioned whether this means that suicide is an acceptable way to preserve personal or family honor in the face of public shame.

25-year-old woman sent to jail for pouring hot oil on lover who refused to marry her

A 25-year-old woman identified as Victoria Alonge was on Monday sentenced to one-year in jail by a Karu Senior Magistrate court for pouring hot oil on her boyfriend, Roland Nna, because he refused to marry her.
Telegraphng.com reports that Victoria was sentenced to one year imprisonment without an option of fine after the convict admitted to the court that she committed the offence. Alonge was arraigned on a one-count charge of causing grievous harm to Nna, her boyfriend, who resides in Kurudu, Abuja.

The prosecutor told the court that  Alonge went to Nna’s house at about 4:30 a.m. on the fateful day and poured hot oil on him while he was asleep, resulting in grievous injury.
