The Ogun state police command have arrested 63-year-old man, Korede Odubela pictured left, for allegedly killing his 16-year-old step-daughter, Amudat Oshimodi, and selling her head to his son, Seun, a herbalist, who allegedly paid N3,000 as first installment.
According to Vanguard, the suspect reportedly connived with one Lekan Lawal, to commit the crime at Imosan Area of Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of the state.

Popular photojournalist and video editor at Naij.com, Adeyinka Adeparusi is dead. Adeyinka was last seen alive around 1:00pm on Sunday, when he left his Abuja apartment saying, ‘I will be back’. His friends and family who have been trying to reach him since Sunday then declared him missing. A report was also made at a police station yesterday.

According to Ani Amatosero who shared the photo on her IG page, Leo Mezie is back in Nigeria and is looking fine and healthy after a successful surgery in London. The Nollywood actor was diagnosed with Kidney disease five months ago and solicited for N10 million naira from well meaning Nigerians to help him undergo a kidney transplant surgery.

According to a new report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), hate crimes against Muslims, LGBT and blacks are on the rise in the U.S after being on the low for the last 20 years.
The FBI report, released on Monday, shows hate crimes against Muslims were up by 67% from 2015 to 2016, crimes against religious groups were up by 23 percent since 2014 while anti-black and LGBT hate incidents were up as well.
