Two female corp members die in a road accident in Akwa Ibom

Two female corp members, Chidinma Sandra Ewelike and Lika serving in Akwa Ibom state have lost their lives in a road accident. which occured while they were on their way to Uyo from Etinan to use the ATM.
According to Sandra's friend,  Chukwukadibia who wrote a tribute to her on Facebook, said they were inside a tricycle also known as keke NAPEP when the accident happened, the other three passengers and the driver died on the spot while Sandra who was unconscious was rushed to the hospital. Naval rating allegedly beats wife to death in Lagos State

An official of the Western Naval Command, Apapa, Lagos, Omojoye Ayodele, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his wife, Mary Egbailo. Punch Metro gathered that Ayodele on Tuesday allegedly beat up the victim till she gave up the ghost at their house on Eze Anthony Street, in the Igando, Alimosho area of the state.

It was gathered that the 30-year-old suspect had gone to bring back the wife from the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in the area, where she was said to have been since Sunday.

Travelers stranded as aggrieved Delta state women barricade East-West Road over rape and killing by Fulani herdsmen (photos)

Thousands of travelers were stranded on Wednesday, after aggrieved women, numbering over 100 barricaded the East-West Road, over what they termed the incessant killing, raping of indigenes by armed Fulani herdsmen.

The protesting women from Ohorhor community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State besieged and barricaded the busy road with planks of wood, leaves, tires and chairs.

This video is an incident of what happened to my colleague yesterday. N500K was taken from her locked car at Mobil Filling station, Agidingbi. She went to GTB, Alausa to withdraw N500K, and kept it under her car seat. When she drove out, she saw a car coming behind her, not knowing there were actually 2 cars following her. So when she got to FBN, Agidingbi, she indicated as if she was going back the way she came, so the car she saw following her passed her to go ahead of her to the side she indicated to, which is the Lexus jeep.
