Friday evening, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, got on twitter to dispel rumors that President Buhari had passed on at a hospital in Germany. President Buhari is currently on a medical vacation in the UK.While dispelling the rumor, Garba took a jab at former President Goodluck Jonathan whom his supporters on social media had alleged had been invited by the US President, Donald Trump's inauguration organizing team, to attend the inauguration. Indian authorities seize over Rs58 lakh from Nigerian man at Delhi airport
Indian authorities seized over Rs 58 lakh (around $85,000) from a Nigerian national identified as one Tochukwu Chijioke, who was traveling to Coimbatore at the Delhi airport.
Of the total cash seized, almost Rs 54 lakh, was in the newly introduced Rs 2000 & Rs 500 currency notes, while the remaining Rs 4 lakh was in discontinued high-value notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

Vegetable market bomb kills at least 20 people in Pakistan
At least 20 people have been killed and 40 wounded after a bomb exploded at a vegetable market in northwest Pakistan. The blast happened in the city of Parachinar, a mainly Shia Muslim area on the Afghan border. The market was full of shoppers when the device exploded.
