Three die during church deliverance service in Delta state

The Police in Delta have confirmed that three worshippers died during deliverance service at a Church located in the outskirts of Warri. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident on Tuesday. He said that one of the deceased drowned, while the other two died during prayer session in the church at the weekend.

“The information actually is that one worshipper drowned and two died in the church; that is the information available to me at the moment,” Aniamaka said.

Robbers attack bullion van in Ondo State

Some suspected armed robbers on Wednesday attacked a bullion van on Akure-Ondo Expressway at Ireje village in Ondo East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to an eyewitness, the robbers, numbering about 10, were inside two vehicles when they opened fire on the bullion van at about 1pm. It was gathered that the bullion van belonged to one of the new generation commercial banks and was loaded with cash.
