President Donald Trump made waves last week when he greeted his wife on stage with an “awkward” handshake, and a body language expert says the move made the first couple “look horrible.”

The moment came last Friday during an appearance at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland when President Trump gave Melania a handshake after she introduced him in front of military families.

 “You go sit down, honey,” Trump said as he urged Melania off stage.

A Customary Court sitting in Mapo, Ibadan, has dissolved the 30-year-old marriage between former Super Eagles coach Adegboye Onigbinde and Anne due to irreconcilable differences.

A 4-year-old girl in Florida died after reaching into her grandmother's purse for candy and accidentally pulling the trigger of a gun.

Yanelly "Nelly" Zoller passed away from a gunshot wound at the Tampa home of her grandparents.

Suspected robbers storm filling station in Benue state, kill two

Two people have been left dead following an attack by unknown gunmen on a filling station at Tor-Donga community in Kastina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. They also carted away an undisclosed amount of cash.

Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the incident adding that the sad incident happened at Mangris Filling station on Monday, September 18 at about 7pm.

The National Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has suspended Ifeanyi Ubah and queried Senator Buruji Kashamu for alleged anti-party activities.

While Kashamu, who represents Ogun East in the Senate, was queried for his activities in the South-West zone of the party, Ubah was questioned for allegedly disparaging national officers of the party and those that conducted the Anambra State governorship primary.

Lagos state command arrests 9 policemen for extortion

The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Lagos State Police Command, Edgal Imohimi, said on Thursday that nine policemen, one traffic warden and two others have been arrested for extorting money from motorists.

Imohimi told the News Agency of Nigeria that the arrest was a follow-up to his warning to policemen in the command to guide against corruption and unprofessional conduct.

He said the X-Squad Unit had intensified its activities to ensure zero tolerance for corruption and unruly practices by operatives of the command.
