Graphic: Sea pirates kill two passengers on a boat in Bayelsa state

A man and a woman were killed in an attack by sea pirates at in Bayelsa state yesterday September 25th. The victims were on a boat traveling from Yenagoa, the state capital of Bayelsa state to Okpo Ama Kingdom in Brass LGA in the state, when they were attacked.

Other passengers on the boat sustained serious injuries and have been taken to the hospital. The body of the deceased victims have been deposited at the state morgue.

These are the three police men who lost their lives on Sunday, while trying to protect Dr. Andy Ehanire from gunmen. Recall that the gunmen suspected to be kidnappers killed the policemen attached to the Ogba Zoo and Nature Park in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State.

The gunmen succeeded in abducting Dr. Ehanire, who is the chief executive officer of the leisure park and a brother of the Minister of State for Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire and Mrs Daisy Danjuma. See the grahic photos below..

Little boy beaten to death with hammer while trying to protect younger sister from child abuser

An eight-year-old boy has died after being beaten with a hammer while trying to protect his younger sister from a child molester.The child was attacked by his mother's former partner, 23-year-old Deandre Chaney Jr.

Chaney Jr attacked Dante Daniels with a hammer after the young child tried to stop him from committing a lewd act on his seven-year-old sister, Danae, according to a criminal complaint. The complaint also states Chaney Jr used lighter fluid in the attack.

Man beats his 3-year-old step daughter to death in Katsina state

A middle-aged man, Akilu Alhaji Saidu, has been arrested by the police in Katsina state for killing his three-year-old stepdaughter. The spokesperson of the Katsina State Police Command, DSP Gambo Isah, said the suspect after his arrest, confessed that he dragged the deceased to an uncompleted building in Yankara Village of Faskari Local government on September 17th and then twisted and broke her neck.
