'EFCC is a senseless body, I will restructure it when I become President in 2019' - Ayo Fayose says

Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, says he will restructure EFCC if he is voted in as President in 2019. The governor said this at a reception held in honour of two of the state officials who were recently arrested and then released from EFCC custody.

The state Commissioner for Finance Toyin Ojo and the Accountant General, Mrs Yemisi Owolabi, were arrested on September 28th on grounds that they refused to honour previous invitations for interrogation in relation to a pending investigation on the misuse of bailout funds by the Ayodele Fayose administration.

Lethal weapons including petrol bombs, double-barrel gun recovered from IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu's Umuahia home - Police says

The Abia State Commissioner of Police, Anthony Ogbizi said lethal weapons including petrol bombs and one double-barrel gun, were recovered during last weekend's raid of the Afaraukwu, Umuahia’s home of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu.

Ogbizi, who disclosed this on Thursday said the petrol bombs were found in buckets. Also found were incriminating documents and letters concerning IPOB’s activities.

In the photos, the father had the fragile child in a baby bath while he washed her body. Then when he was done, he put the child on his lap, powdered the baby's body, dressed her and combed her hair.

Asmau, who attended Agbara Community Junior Secondary School, Ogun State, stayed with her guardians in the state before she went missing. A man was stabbed to death in Owerri, Imo state, by his landlord and the landlord's children, two days to the day he was supposed to get married.

Udochukwu Malachi Iwuoha, from Agbaja in Nwangele, Imo state was supposed to have his traditional marriage today, but he was killed on Wednesday by landlord Paul Oparaugo and five out of his six children at No. 50 Onumonu Street in the Owerri between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Yesterday, the Senior Special Assistant to Vice President  Yemi Osinbajo, tweeted that the Vice President while he was acting president, gave approval for two contracts in NNPC after due diligence. NNPC had in its reply to Kachikwu's allegations, claimed it received presidential approval for the award of two contracts while President Buhari was away in the UK for medical attention. The contracts according to the statement received presidential approvals on July 10th and July 30th respectively.

Debo Adedayo, a student leader of the Redeemers University, owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was expelled by the school few weeks to his graduation for critizing the school's Vice Chancellor on social media .

In a Facebook post, Debo, without calling any names, insinuated that the VC was a hypocrite, who paraded himself as most righteous and said he will only respect 'real fathers' not those who act like fathers.
