Actor Tyler Perry cast as Colin Powell in a film about former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney

Hollywood film maker and actor Tyler Perry has been cast to play Colin Powell in an upcoming movie about former US Vice president, Dick Cheney.

As Secretary of State for the Bush Administration, Colin Powell famously pushed for the invasion of Iraq claiming Saddam Hussein was manufacturing weapons of mass destruction but the weapons were never found.

Tyler will be starring opposite Christian Bale.
