Shehu Shagari's grandson Mohammed Bello Shagari,  has reacted to the news of Bilyamin Muhammed Bello, who was stabbed to death in his sleep by his wife Maryam Sanda, According to Mohammed, anyone who defends Maryam is heartless.

“Only a stupid person can stand to defend Maryam who have stabbed her husband thrice to death. And only a foolish person would think that the world would believe it was a fight. And only a heartless person would say he deserved death for whatever reason.

Pastor dies during sex romp with 19-year-old girl in Delta state

A Pentecostal pastor reportedly died during an alleged sex romp with a 19-year-old-girl in a hotel room in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta.

Delta Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident on Wednesday in Asaba. He said the incident happened on the evening of Sunday, November 19. He revealed that the pastor, who will not be named, had been in a hotel with the girl when he started gasping for breath and the girl raised the alarm thereby alerting hotel workers to the incident. Aniamaka added that the victim’s wife reported the incident to the police that same day.

A police man driving recklessly yesterday allegedly killed a young man at Gbagada bus-stop. According to an eyewitness at the scene, @Adavizealao,

'The vehicle responsible for the death was driven by a drunk police man who meandered from the expressway to the service lane jumping over the median distinguishing the two lanes. The Plate number is RRS 317 LA and he has since been arrested.'

A tormented 15-year-old girl, sadly ended her life after she learned that her ex-boyfriend allegedly posted explicit photographs of her online. Karina Saifer Oliveira is said to have killed herself after she heard rumours that the photos had been shared throughout her hometown in Nova Andradina of southeastern Brazil.

Karina reportedly had a sexual relationship with her ex, a 17-year-old boy she dated when she was just 14 years old, and there was speculation he had shared intimate photographs of her before her death.

Backstreet Boys Nick Carter denies raping Melissa Schuman, says sex was consensual

Yesterday, we reported the story of former Dream singer, Melissa Schuman who claimed 'Backstreet Boys vocalist, Nick Carter forced her to perform oral sex on him before raping her inside his Santa Monica apartment in 2002.

Lagos state commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, rescues 13 year old housemaid whose madam locks indoors and travels outside Nigeria for weeks (photos)

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police Ag CP Imohimi Edgal, today led operatives of the command to rescue 13-year-old Nkechi Oseh, pictured above, at No. 30 Adeniran Ajao Estate Anthony. The CP stormed the residence after he got an information from a reliable source that Nkechi's employer, one Ms Betty Ifeoma, a staff of NNPC Lagos state office, was in the habit of locking her up for weeks anytime she is travelling within or out of the country leaving her with only two (2) packets  of cabin biscuit.

A yet to be identified man was rushed to the General hospital, Gusau in Zamfara state after his wife stabbed him during an argument. This sad incident comes few days after the son of former PDP chairman, Bilyaminu Bello, was stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says that Nigeria is very close to attaining self-sufficiency in rice production. According to him, the Administration of President Buhari has drastically cut rice importation and moved Nigeria very close to achieving self-sufficiency in rice, a major staple food in the country, in just two years.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja today, the Minister - quoting figures from the Thailand Rice Exporters Association - said rice importation from Thailand, which supplies the bulk of the parboiled rice being imported into Nigeria, dropped from 644,131 Metric Tonnes to about 21,000 MT between September 2015 and September 2017.
