Photo: Five gay men arrested in Lagos while fighting after contracting HIV

The Lagos State Police command arrested five homosexuals last week at Ikotun-Egbe while fighting after contracting HIV.

According to a report by Punchng, one of the men identified as Ezeugo, who is HIV positive, allegedly infected his first lover. He was about to sleep with another lover he brought into the house when the first boyfriend he infected raised an alarm around 2:18am this past Tuesday.

Buhari set to embark on an official visit to the United Kingdom from Monday April 9th

President Buhari will leave Abuja on Monday 9th April, 2018 for an official visit to Britain where he is due to hold discussions on Nigeria – British relations with Prime Minister Mrs Theresa May, prior to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings scheduled for 18th to 20th April, 2018.

The President will also meet the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Dutch Plc, Mr. Ben van Beurden in connection with Shell and other partners’ plan to invest $15b in Nigeria’s oil industry.

Man kills his blood brother over land in Anambra state (Graphic photos)

A Nigerian man identified as Ekene Onyeagu has reportedly killed his blood brother, Ejimkoye Onyeagu, over a parcel of land in their village, Ifitedunu in Dunukofia local government area of Anambra state. Facebook user, Jack-Binno Okoye who shared the sad story online wrote;
''Brother killed his blood brother over land dispute. This happened in a town called Ifitedunu in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State.

PDP blasts APC, Presidency for stage managing endorsement from ''Arewa pastors''

The Chairman of Anambra East LGA, Pius Ifeadi has been accused of physically assaulting the Head of Local Government Administration of the area, Chike Obuekwe, for raising alarm over his diversion of funds meant for the council.

According to reports, Obuekwe was beaten up after he wrote a memo to Ifeadi to express his reservations over what he termed the massive corruption and diversion of funds in the council. Ifeadi who is said to be the political godson of the state governor Willie Obiano, did not take the revelation lightly.

Lady tells Police that the cocaine found in her purse was blown there by "wind"

A Florida dancer who was busted with cocaine last month told officers that wind must have blown it into her purse. 26-year old Kennecia Posey was one of two passengers in a car that was stopped by Fort Pierce police after it was seen swerving in the roadway on March 21, 2018. When officers approached the vehicle, they detected the smell of marijuana coming from inside the car. Officers later found cocaine and marijuana inside Posey's purse.

Former Manchester City striker, Mario Balotelli took to Twitter at half time in the derby to mock Jose Mourinho’s Man United who trailed 2-0, courtesy of goals from Vincent Kompany and Ilkay Gundogan.

The Lagos state police command has released a statement detailing all it knows so far about the murder of singer, Alizee and her 4 year old daughter by her husband, Peter Nelson, a 53-year old citizen of Denmark at their home in Banana Island on Thursday April 5th.

Father arrested for allegedly confining his 42-year-old mentally ill son in cage for over 20 years in Japan

Authorities in Japan have arrested a 73-year-old man for allegedly confining his 42-year-old mentally ill son to a cage inside a prefabricated hut next to his house in the city of Sanda, for more than 20 years.

Police said they arrested Yoshitane Yamasaki on Saturday for confining his son for a 36-hour period from 10 a.m. on Jan. 18. The timing was when authorities learned of the son’s confinement when a city official visited the home in connection with nursing care for Yamasaki’s late wife.

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan was on Saturday granted bail by a Rajasthan court after his poaching conviction that saw him bag five years in prison three days ago.

Last Thursday,  the 52-year-old actor was convicted of illegally killing two blackbucks, a protected species of Indian antelope, while shooting a film in Jodhpur city in 1998, and sentenced to five years in prison.

A 20 year old man arrested by operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has confessed that his gang use a toy gun to rob stranded motorists around Adeniji Adele end of the Third Mainland Bridge.

The suspect, Rilwan Wasiu from Oyo State was arrested last week Thursday at Adeniji Adele under bridge around 10:00 p.m. while he was fighting with his girlfriend.

Canadian fertility doctor Norman Barwin accused of using own sperm to impregnate women

Norman Barwin, a Canadian fertility doctor may face a class action lawsuit in which he is accused of using his own sperm to inseminate 11 of his clients without their knowledge or consent. 

In a statement, Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP, the law firm behind the case, said that DNA investigation shows that Barwin is the biological father in 11 individuals whose parents went to the doctor for assistance with fertility.
