A teenager has told of how she broke up with her 17-year-old boyfriend to date a 44-year-old man older than her father and insists their sex life is "extravagant".

Avalon Garvey, now 19, was in sixth form in Bradford, West Yorkshire, when she first met 44-year-old Doug Traser, from San Francisco, California, in an online forum in June 2016.

Senator Dino Melaye now in police custody

A man has died in a car accident which occurred on Sunday evening in Delta state. The man was driving a private Toyota Corolla when it crashed somewhere between Urhonigbe and Obiaruku in Ukwuani local government area of Delta state.

Yesterday we shared the story of a 50 year old man identified as Taiwo Oyelabi, who impregnated his 21 year old daughter at their home in Community Road, Badore, Iba in Lagos state.

Police investigations have revealed that Oyelabi, a private security guard, started having sex with his own daughter in November 2017.

YouTube says it took down over 8m videos in 3-months for violating its community guidelines

In a new report on Monday, YouTube said it took down more than 8 million videos between October and December 2017 for violating its community guidelines. The majority of the videos were spam or people trying to upload "adult content."

The information was included in YouTube's first quarterly report on how it's enforcing its community guidelines. "This regular update will help show the progress we're making in removing violative content from our platform," the video-sharing site said in a blog post.

Former president George Bush hospitalized a day after his wife's funeral

A day after burying his wife Barbara, who died at age 92, former President George H.W. Bush, 93, has been hospitalised after an infection he contracted spread to his blood.   

Spokesman to the former president said that Bush was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. “President Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital Sunday after contracting an infection that spread to his blood. He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant,” Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement.

Tourist Police Bureau deputy commissioner Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakparn said in a press conference yesterday that the suspect, Emery Henry Ogba, was a member of a gang believed to have a monthly income of Bt1 million from illicit operations.

A British woman managed to escape after being held as a sex slave for weeks by African migrants in Italy, leading to the capture of her abductors. The woman, who was not named, said she escaped through a window after weeks in captivity.

She told of how she met Mamadou Jallow, 37, via Facebook and initially traveled to Germany to live with him. But after several months, he was forced to flee because he stabbed a rival during a drug dispute.

Police, Shiite protesters clash again in Abuja (Photos)

Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) today again clashed with members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shiites in Abuja. The group was protesting the prolonged detention of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

The protesters during the clash with the security agents in Maitama area of Abuja, threw stones and other objects, causing damage to cars and buildings in the area. The police officers teargassed the protesters in order to disperse them.

EFCC arrests PDP senator who is on the ‘looters’ list

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have arrested the Senator representing Delta North senatorial district in the National Assembly, Peter Nwaoboshi, over issues bothering on corruption and fraudulent contracts.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, Nwaoboshi was arrested by the anti corruption agency last week on allegations he fraudulently purchased a building owned by Delta State, "Guinea House" in Lagos state.‎ Nwaoboshi is amongst the names in the Federal government's looters list.
