Senator Dino Melaye now in police custody

Dino Melaye is currently in custody of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) in Abuja. He drove to the SARS office to ask why his Abuja home has been under seige by the police since yesterday evening.

Dino was stopped from travel to Morroco yesterday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

He is currently being investigated by the police for allegedly sponsoring an assassination gang in Kogi state. He was declared wanted on March 28th after the two suspected assassins linked to him escaped from police custody.
