Yesterday Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was at the commissioning of the Deeper Life ultramodern auditorium in Lagos.

After photos of the church building with installed TV sets inside was shared online, comedian Wale Gates reminded the church of the years they described TV sets as a sinful tool.

Doctors in US complete world’s first total penis, scrotum transplant

For the first time, a team of US surgeons from Johns Hopkins Medical center in Baltimore, Maryland, has managed to transplant the penis and the scrotum from a deceased donor to a recipient who had lost his genital organs during armed service. 

According to a report by Medical News Today, the surgeons had been planning the intervention since 2013. In the telebriefing statement of the institution’s genitourinary programme, the programmme’s clinical director, Dr. Rick Redett, called the procedure “the culmination of more than 5 years of research and collaboration across multiple disciplines.”

Facebook deletes 1.9 million terror related posts in 3-months

Social network giant, Facebook found and removed 1.9 million social-media posts by the Islamic State and al Qaeda terrorists during the first three months of 2018, using new anti-terror algorithms.

“In Q1 (first quarter) we took action on 1.9 million pieces of ISIS [Islamic State terror group, outlawed in Russia] and al-Qaeda content, about twice as much from the previous quarter. Taking action means that we removed the vast majority of this content, and added a warning to a small portion that was shared for informational or counter speech purposes” Facebook said.
