Wounded Emir of Kano, two sons flown to London for treatment after attack

The Emir of Kano, and his two sons who were wounded during Saturday's attack by unknown gunmen along the popular Zoo Road in Kano metropolis have been transported to a London hospital for medical attention.

A private plane carrying them alongside some aides and relatives departed the Aminu Kano International Airport yesterday afternoon. 


The Emir was returning from a ceremony at a mosque when the men opened fire on his convoy. The Emir survived the attack, but his driver and two guards were killed.
