Guinness fulfils $2,000 promise to Super Eagles as they moves to final

Super Eagles yesterday triumphed over the Flames of Malawi in Calabar a 2 – 0 victory match. The match was witnessed by hundreds of eager Nigerian fans who came out enmasse to support the team in their quest for victory.

With this win, the Eagles have secured a place in the final round of the 2014 World cup qualifier stage. As promised before the match, Guinness, Nigeria’s number one premium beer was on hand to support the team with their $2,000 per goal offer to ensure the team was gingered to win the match, which became evident in the 2 – 0 margin.

At the end of the match, a cheque of $2,000 each was presented to Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike in fulfillment of the Guinness promise. Guinness also ensured that Nigerians nationwide were not left out in the action as they sponsored the broadcast of the match live on AIT network, I also watched it; thanks to Guinness.

Fans in Calabar had a fantastic time at the stadium as Guinness ensured an endless supply of free drinks to keep everyone motivated and ensure the Eagles had the support they needed to triumph. Well, I was lucky enough to get some pictures from the match in Calabar and here they are.

Congrats to the Super Eagles as they move into the final round, we pray for the World cup and to Guinness we say keep the flag flying!
