Former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, flown Abroad for treatment

Former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, was flown abroad for continued medical treatment, today. The 85-year-old second republic vice president was brought to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu with a National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu, SUV ambulance at about 7.26am this morning and driven straight into the tarmac, where he was taken into a waiting air ambulance with registration number N605 JA.

The former Vice President was two weeks ago admitted to the Memfys Neuro-surgical Hospital in Enugu state for a Chest Infection. President Buhari approved that he be transferred to any medical facility in the world to receive the best of medical care.
