Here's all you need to know about the engagement ring Prince Harry used in proposing to actress Meghan Markle

Details have now emerged on the type of engagement ring used by Prince Harry in proposing to Meghan Markle.

According to reports, Prince Harry designed the engagement ring himself which was made by Cleave and company, the official court jewellers and medallists to her Majesty the Queen.

At the center of the ring is a special diamond from Botswana, a country that holds special significance for Prince Harry who has visited the place several times as a child. The couple have also spent alot of time in Botswana over the last 18-months.

The engagement ring also boasts of two outside stones which are also made from diamond from the personal collection of Prince Harry's mother, late Princess Diana of Wales.

And yes, the engagement ring is GOLD!
