After his stopover in Jigawa state where he drew a large crowd in the company of the state's former governor, Sule Lamido, DaaR communications chairman, Chief Raymond Dokpesi who is in the running for the seat of PDP chairman took his campaign to Niger State. Speaking to delegates to the party's Dec. 9 National Convention, he said he will work towards uniting the people of the country irrespective of tribe and religion if elected chairman.
He said:
“I have come here again for the second time to plead with you to vote for me as the national chairman of our party, the PDP. We will end the current divisive challenges being witnessed in our country today in order to ensure development.
"We will revive and rebrand the PDP and bring back our aggrieved members who left the party due to perceived injustice."
