Popular photojournalist and video editor at Naij.com, Adeyinka Adeparusi is dead. Adeyinka was last seen alive around 1:00pm on Sunday, when he left his Abuja apartment saying, ‘I will be back’. His friends and family who have been trying to reach him since Sunday then declared him missing. A report was also made at a police station yesterday.

According to Ani Amatosero who shared the photo on her IG page, Leo Mezie is back in Nigeria and is looking fine and healthy after a successful surgery in London. The Nollywood actor was diagnosed with Kidney disease five months ago and solicited for N10 million naira from well meaning Nigerians to help him undergo a kidney transplant surgery.

The Obamas, after Barack's tenure at the White House ends, will be moving into a lavish $5.3 million residence in a desirable gated neighborhood in Washington, DC. The house was built in 1928, with 8,200 square feet and nine bedrooms.

According to a new report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), hate crimes against Muslims, LGBT and blacks are on the rise in the U.S after being on the low for the last 20 years.

The FBI report, released on Monday, shows hate crimes against Muslims were up by 67% from 2015 to 2016, crimes against religious groups were up by 23 percent since 2014 while anti-black and LGBT hate incidents were up as well.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had a recent interview with EFCC's quarterly magazine named Quarterly magazine. In the interview, Atiku alleged the his boss and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, had planned to amend the constitution so that he can be president for life as against the third term bid he was presumed to be pursuing. EFCC operatives reportedly found $175 million in the account of a company, Pluto Property and Investment Limited, that is owned by former first lady, Patience Jonathan. According to the Nation, investigations into the $15.5 million found in four companies that Patience Jonathan has claimed ownership of, led the antigraft agency to the discovery of $175 million deposited into the company's account in four tranches within 14 months — between February 21, 2014 and April 1, 2015.

NCC threatens to sanction MTN, Glo, other networks over unsolicited telemarketing messages

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has given telecom operators one week ultimatum to comply with the directive of ‘Do Not Disturb’ (DND), issued by the body on April 20th, 2016, to address unwanted messages received by subscribers or face sanction.

According to a statement released yesterday in Abuja by the Director of Public Affairs of the commission, Mr Tony Ojobo; NCC had written to all 13 networks providers in Nigeria, on whose networks the body had received series of complaints from subscribers regarding adherence to the ‘Do Not Disturb’ (DND) service rule issued to them by NCC.

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed for Morocco where he would be attending the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), also known as COP-22, slated for November 14th to 16th.

The Academic Staff Union of University ASUU has issued a statement saying it would embark on a one week warning strike starting from Wednesday November 16th to Tuesday November 22nd.

According to the statement signed by ASUU National President, Biodun Ogunyemi, the strike action is as a result of the Federal government's failure to implement the 2009 Agreement and 2013 MoU.
