Hurricane Sandy leads to the peril of Meryl Streep's penthouse in downtown N.Y.

Meryl Streep can win over Hollywood, but she can't win against Mother Nature. An in-the-know source tells us the 63-year-old Oscar winner has been displaced from her penthouse at 92 Laight St. in the River Lofts since Hurricane Sandy, and it doesn't look as if she'll be moving back in anytime soon.
