These companies came out tops after a rigorous screening process by a high-level judging panel representing business, telecommunications, entrepreneurship and network development professionals that reviewed the numerous entries and came out with a shortlist of four nominees in the two categories.

Etisalat was so generous to take all four nominees on a five star all expense paid trip to Cape Town, South Africa where the two winners’ Sinelimit and Future Software were presented with their prizes at the 2012 AfricaCom Awards ceremony held on Thursday, November 15th.

Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Steven Evans, explained that the competition was introduced to provide the opportunity for creative people to present innovative and relevant mobile broadband products/services and ideas. He expressed delight at the creativity shown by all the entries received this year and encouraged ingenious organisations and individuals to look forward to participation in 2013.
