The Washington Post published the story on Monday, where the women who all worked for Rose or tried to work for him said that he made lewd phone calls to them, walked around naked in front of them or groped them. In addition, two women told The New York Times that he made unwanted advances toward them, trying to kiss them without their permission.
Charlie Rose who was quickly suspended after the news broke out, released a statement where he admitted to the shameful act and apologized to the women

This followed the revelation yesterday of extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior said to have revolved around his PBS program."Rose who co-anchored This Morning from 2012 to 2017 on CBS News, was formerly substituted for the anchor of the CBS Evening News.
