Georgia State honours Nigerian fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma with citizenship

It's a remarkable global recognition of his meritorious endeavours as the State of Georgia, the United States of America (USA) honoured Nigeria's fuji music superstar, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.

The versatile and influential fuji musician has been a recipient of several awards and recognitions both within and outside of Nigeria but nothing undoubtedly has come close to this significant honour that was bestowed on him by the government of the State of Georgia.

In the certificate of "Honorary Georgia Citizen" signed by the secetrary of state, Brian P. Kempt, and handed to the Nigerian-born popular musician, it is stated that Pasuma "be afforded every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia State in his travels to other states, to nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever he may hereafter travel or reside".
The ceremony which was conducted within the Georgia Parliament attracted some of the influential politicians and policymakers from the States of Georgia and across USA, who were evidently satisfied to listen to the rendition of Pasuma's impressive profile in the music world and his commitment to using music as a tool for social change.

Pasuma, who is presently on his annual music tour in USA and will be performing in over 20 states across America, has stated that this latest honour is a huge motivation for him to be better in his work and to use his music to make more positive impact in the world.

Expectedly, congratulatory messages and best wishes have been pouring in for the fuji superstar from his fans across the world; and those residing in USA have been making offerings of different get-together to host Pasuma for the latest achievement
