Pope denounces new technologies that help people to change gender

Pope Francis is denouncing how new technologies are making it easier for people to change gender, saying this “utopia of the neutral” risks the creation of new life.

Francis made the comments Thursday to the Pontifical Academy for Life, the Vatican’s bioethics advisory board, taking up his criticism of so-called gender theory and the idea that people can choose their sex.

Saudi Woman dies in car accident while learning how to drive before ban is lifted

A woman in Saudi Arabia has died in a car crash as she was learning how to drive. This has occurred less than a week after it was announced that the country is lifting the ban on female drivers.

The incident took place in Jeddah, near the Red Sea, reportedly during the woman's first driving lesson, Gulf News reports.

FIFA bans Equatorial Guinea from 2019 Women's World Cup

FIFA has banned Equatorial Guinea from the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France for fielding 10 ineligible players and using forged documents  The players all took part in qualifying for the 2016 Olympic women’s tournament in Brazil.

 FIFA has also imposed a fine of $102,000 on the country’s football association.  The two-time champions will not feature at the 2020 Olympics and the next two Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in 2018 and 2020.

Beverly Hills lawyer, Adam Sack has said victims of the Las Vegas shooting, which occurred on Sunday night, could sue the Mandalay Bay hotel where the deranged killer stayed at for millions.

The attack carried out by Stephen Paddock, 64, from inside a suite in Mandalay Bay Hotel led to the death of 59 people with over 500 concertgoers still recovering from bullet sustained injuries.
