Video: Nicki Minaj's ex, Safaree says Nicki is not sincerely happy with Cardi B's success as a rapper

Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, granted an interview where he said Nicki Minaj is shaken by Cardi's success and her recent congratulatory message to Cardi was not sincere. Speaking to hosts DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden on the morning show, Everyday Struggle, Safaree said Nicki is affected by Cardi's rise in the industry.

DJ Akademiks asked Safaree: "I'm going to ask if you feel like Cardi B is pressing Nicki... like in terms of, do you think she got Nicki sweating."


To which Safaree said: "100 percent... because I know how she is"

When pressed to say more, he said: " Listen, one thing you can't look like out here is a hater" implying that if he spoke what was on his mind people will brand him a hater.

The hosts reminded him that Nicki had congratulated Cardi B on being number one on the US 100 Billboards chart. They asked him if Nicki's congratulatory message to Cardi was not sincere and he said Nicki wasn't being sincere at all.

"Ok, so you don't think that's sincere then," DJ Akademiks asked Safaree and he replied: "Absolutely not."
